Sad and surprising news, yes. Usenet will never be quite the same.
Hopefully he can haunt you from beyond the grave
I'd love to see him do that "pull your face off" trick with you like
in
Poltergeist
Or maybe toss you down some stairs like "Exorcist."
Or maybe he can stand around and stare at me like he's Space Ghost.
Nah, I'd rather he do something mentally traumatic <slap>
"We know.
...that there's nothing that could mentally traumatize you because you're
too self-absorbed to notice anyone but yourself?

"We know."

Rusty? Is zat J00? Where da fuck ya been, ya fat, bloated, man-child pedo
racist?
motherfucker.
i swear to christ, if he didn't die in the arms of a depraved woman (as
all of
us should), i'm gonna be pissed at the all-might-ee for a LONG time.
If this is really Rusty, then you should be pissed off at a lot more than
that. Namely, that you're Rusty.
No, that wasn't Rusty, but I wonder whatever happened to him?
I think he got stuck in a doorway and had to wait until he lost some weight
to go outside...kind of like the time he got stuck in rabbit's hole, or his
head in that honeypot...

Jeanne,
I just now realized why I haven't read Dennis here in
quite awhile. I am in and out of here so I guess I missed the
news when it was first revealed and the continuing thread.
I certainly had my fair share of sword play with Dennis,
but all in all, he was always inspiring with his quick wit,
wild word play and esoteric information.
He always had an opinion and whether right or wrong,
it was always worth the read. Often times he would have me
delving into historical or political facts that I had never known.
It was usually enlightening and educational. He would also
throw out vocabulary that was worth investigating. His poesie
was often irreverent and filed to a fine sharp point.
I know I'll miss seeing his responses to my posts,
good or bad (usually good or entertaining at worst).
It only goes to show how our little community here,
although we politely disagree with each other often,
reflects an important poetic discourse that is vital
to our overall mental health. We may piss and spit
on each other, but in the end, we thrive off of each others
poetic energies. And although most won't admit it,
we inspire each other to be better poetry writers.
I will mirror what Heinrich said. He is now up there
with the other RAP greats that took the final
poetic plunge, McNeilly, Jungheim, Standish and
others. He's in good company. I'll miss his late night tyrades.
God bless you, Hammy. May you be an hour in heaven
before the devil knows you're gone.
-Max
Hammy was a good person. Dockery is an asshole.
I try my best

and yet, you still fail.
